Sadie surprised her mom and dad and decided to come a month earlier. We did the pregnancy shoot exactly a week ago and I still said “see you in a month’s time” because the due date was only 5weeks later … but Sadie had spend enough time in mommy’s tummy and wanted to meet everybody.  I always said I only want one child but when I was taking these photos …

 

Abrie has been one of my husband’s best friend since pre-primary. It was such an honour for me to take their photos, but the travelling to Upington with my 4 month old baby was an experience one its own. Elana is very “arty farty” and Abrie the total opposite but yet he agreed to wear the takkies as his wedding shoes … it just shows you what real love is! …

 

Justin and Elaine got married at the Beach Break in Cape St Francis, the weather was just perfect for a beach wedding. Elaine had so many fun ideas for photos, and lots of props that had to be used J .  I was laughing all the time at Justin’s facial expressions – he was by far one of the easiest grooms to take photos of.  My favourite was the treats …

 

Emdin is such a sweet little guy. He slept throughout the shoot, and goes from one arm to another with no fuss. Baby shoots usually takes longer than other shoots and you have to be very patient with them, but Emdin loved the photos and we were finished in no time.  I can just see that he is going to be spoilt rotten by his sisters.  

 

Esti is my best friend from school, I was doing a wedding in Cape Town and got to spend some time with her and Ruby-Rain. The two of them just looked so stunning, so I just had to take a few photos … I wish we could see each other more often, linkin just loves Ruby-Rain and I miss having her around.  

 

I can’t help but to feel sorry when I see a mommy that is pregnant with her second child….. I always think who is going to give the older one attention when the new baby comes.  When I did this shoot I just knew that I don’t have to worry about Cara, she will make sure that her mommy and daddy won’t forget about her.  Cara is going to be …
